Stop motion videos about Jason Polan UT collection for Uniqlo

Jason Polan was a New York based artist who depicted the everyday lives of people. In 2021 UNIQLO created a memorial collection that picks up designs from his vast collection of work and expresses his unique perspective and art style. Get It Studio was selected to create a series of distinctive videos to be released during the worldwide launch of this new exclusive collection.

Our approach

We chose to use stop-motion animation techniques to enhance the playful storytelling aspect that best reflects the artists’ universe. Our aim was to highlight his approach to art which is full of joy and energy.

Various clip iterations were produced to be deployed across a multitude of media-channels (e.g. websites, posts, stories and in-store video displays). We produced and directed the creative process in stop-motion shooting and handled the post-production work for all the different animations dedicated to this collection.
